The Land of the Rising Sun calls for nuclear disarmament.

Residents of the Japanese city of Nagasaki honored with a minute of silence the memory of the victims of the atomic explosion over a peaceful city, which thundered exactly 75 years ago, on August 9, 1945. On the occasion of the sad anniversary, the funeral bell of the memorial erected in honor of the dead people tolled over the silent streets.

About 500 people attended the ceremony, which is about 10 times less than usual. The reduction in the audience is due to the fear of the spread of the coronavirus.
