In Israel, a commission from the country's legislature, Likud, has extended until May 26 the emergency powers of Israel's domestic intelligence service, the Shin Bet, which gives the service the right to constantly monitor patients with coronavirus.

“I understand that you are worried about the need to respect the privacy of people. But it seems to me that people should know whether there is a coronavirus patient next to them or not,” Yoav Kish, a Likud deputy, is sure. intrusion on their privacy if we send them such messages.More likely, any person will tell us: "Of course, tell me about it! However, in order to legally justify such a practice, it is necessary to adopt a law that has already been drafted by the cabinet of ministers. Presumably, in mid-May, the normative act will be approved by the country's parliament. Within 8 days after approval, citizens will be able to propose amendments to the text of the document, and then it will finally enter into force.
