Indonesia has fully completed preparations for the Group of Twenty (G20) summit, which will be held in Bali on November 15-16. This was announced on Thursday by the Coordinating Minister for Maritime Affairs and Investments Luhut Binsar Panjaitan.

"I think we are 100% ready. We are ready, and we are waiting," the Antara news agency quotes him as saying.

Luhut Binsar Panjaitan noted that the police and the army have taken the necessary measures to ensure security. "In comparison with other G20 summits, I think we have prepared one of the best, and maybe the best summit in the history of the G20," the coordinating Minister added.

The press attache of the Russian Embassy in Indonesia, Alexander Tumaykin, told TASS on Thursday that Russian President Vladimir Putin could take part in the Group of Twenty summit in Bali via videoconference.
