India extends visa validity period for certain category of foreigners

The validity period of the Indian visa for foreign nationals staying in India due to the COVID-19 pandemic is considered valid until September 30 of the current year. This was reported on Thursday by the press service of the government on the official website.

The Central Government has made it easier for such foreign nationals to stay in India by extending their regular visa or e-Visa or stay period at no charge without incurring any penalty for excessive stay in the country.
