According to sources, the Iranian ambassador to Baghdad, Muhammad Kazem al-Sadeq, during a meeting with al-Sudani, conveyed Raisi's invitation to him.
At the meeting with the Ambassador, special attention was paid to the continuation of meetings between Iraq and Iran on issues of security and stability in the region, the press service of the Iraqi Prime Minister reported.
