Armenian Prime Minister congratulates Vladimir Putin on significant anniversary

Nikol Pashinyan congratulated Putin on the anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the countries.


Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan sent a congratulatory message to Russian PresidentVladimir Putin on the 30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the countries. Sunday's message was published on the website of the head of the government of Armenia.


“I cordially congratulate you on the milestone anniversary of the 30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Armenia and Russia. Over the past decades, through joint efforts, the Armenian-Russian relations have been raised to the highest level of allied interaction, which is distinguished by a sustainable development in all areas of interstate cooperation,” the message says.


Pashinyan noted that a solid and constantly enriched bilateral legal framework is based on the Treaty of Friendship, Cooperation and Mutual Assistance between the two countries and  Declaration on Allied Interaction Oriented in 21st Century.


“Allied relations between Armenia and Russia are based on deep centuries-old traditions of friendship and brotherhood. This powerful consolidating factor is the basis for promoting effective cooperation between our countries in the military-political, economic, industrial, trade, interregional, humanitarian, and scientific and educational fields.


Security in region


< p> Nikol Pashinyan praised the efforts of Russia and noted the personal contribution of Vladimir Putinin achieving a ceasefire in the zone of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict , and also in the matter of ensuring favorable living conditions in Nagorno-Karabakh.


“I hope that the activities of the Russian peacekeeping forces will serve to strengthen the ceasefire regime and ensure peaceful living of the population of Nagorno-Karabakh on their land. I am sure that all these efforts will lead to ensure stability and security in our region, and Russia's subsequent mediation efforts, including in the within the OSCE Minsk Group co-chairmanship, will be fully aimed at achieving a political and diplomatic settlement conflict,” said the Prime Minister of Armenia.


The Head of the Armenian Cabinet of Ministers expressed his confidence that the mutual desire to deepen the Armenian-Russian alliance, the confidential dialogue at the high and superior levels will continue predetermine common efforts for the benefit of our countries, strengthening stability and security in the South Caucasus, which proceeds from the strategic interests of our peoples and states.
