Police send stray goats home to Xinjiang



Police officers in the Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region in northwest China pretended to be goats and thus were able to herd and return home hundreds of stray goats that had escaped to freedom.

Guardians order received a wake-up call from local residents that unattended animals are obstructing traffic.

“We found over 300 goats upon arrival. I immediately called our police station for support. After my colleagues arrived, the six of us were able to take the animals to safety,” says Mai Junping, a local police officer.

the road was restored to traffic, the police found the owner of the goats and contacted him via WeChat.

It turned out that small cattle independently covered a distance of five kilometers from the house.
