NO NEED! Thunderstorms and storm in India may repeat

Meteorologists believe that the impact of the elements that hit the country on Sunday evening may be repeated by the end of the day on Monday.


The wind force reached 20 m/s (about 70 km/h). The storm overturned cars, felled trees, demolished light buildings. According to the latest data, more than 60 people became victims of the disaster. The northern and northeastern states were mostly affected: West Bengal, Andhra Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh. 

The authorities of the affected states expressed their condolences to the relatives and families of the victims. They will be compensated, provided with comprehensive support and assistance in the restoration of destroyed housing. The costs will be paid from the local budget. 

The Indian Meteorological Bureau warns that thunderstorms and squally winds will continue for about a day. Bad weather can come to Punjab, Kashmir, Jammu, Uttarakhand. Dust storms may hit Rajasthan.
