The exhibition "Dostoevsky in the circle of his heroes", prepared by the State Museum of the History of Russian Literature. Dalia (Moscow) with the support of the Russian House in Nur-Sultan, opened in the capital of Kazakhstan. This was announced on Sunday by the press service of the Russian House.

The exhibition, located in the Moscow business Center, presents works of art dedicated to the work of Fyodor Dostoevsky, his notebooks, as well as first editions of works. "We have collected the exhibition "Dostoevsky in the circle of his heroes" especially for Nur-Sultan. The central place in the exhibition is occupied by the works of the Alma-Ata artist Albert Guryev, created for the publication of the novel "Idiot" in the Kazakh language," a representative of the State Museum of the History of Russian Literature told at the grand opening of the exhibition. As Konstantin Vorobyov, the representative of the Russian House in Nur-Sultan, noted, interest in the exhibition about Dostoevsky is quite large. "Almost 200 people came to the opening of this wonderful exhibition! And it is no coincidence — there are a lot of fans of Dostoevsky's work in Kazakhstan. His name is honored here, the memory of him is carefully preserved by Kazakhstani museums, and first of all, the wonderful Literary and Memorial Museum of Dostoevsky in Semey," he explained.

In addition, a conference dedicated to the 200th anniversary of Dostoevsky was held in the capital of Kazakhstan. It was attended by representatives of Russian and Kazakh museums, teachers and researchers of universities of the two countries.

This project was implemented by the Ministry of Culture of the Russian Federation with the support of the Ministry of Culture and Sports of Kazakhstan, the Russian Embassy in Kazakhstan, the Russian House in Nur-Sultan and the Moscow Business Center within the framework of the meeting of the Council for Cultural Cooperation of the CIS member states and the international exhibition Art Expo.
