The Days of Russian Cinema will be held in India from November 17 to 20

The films "The Slave", "The Palm Tree" and "The Young Man" will be shown in India on the days of Russian cinema.
The days of Russian cinema under the Russian Film Festival brand will be held in India again. This time, from November 17 to 20, Indian viewers will see Russian films already in offline format, the press service of Roskino reported on Tuesday.
Last year, a three-week online festival of Russian cinema was organized on one of the largest Indian VOD platforms, which gathered almost 700 thousand viewers.
"Russian Film Festival returns to India. Mumbai will host screenings of Russian films under the Russian Film Festival brand: for the first time - in offline format," the message says.
The festival will last from 17 to 20 November. In three days, viewers will see on the big screen the comedies "The Slave" by Klim Shipenko and "The Young Man" by Alexander Fomin, the family movie "Palm" by Alexander Domogarov Jr., the ballet drama "The Big One" by Valery Todorovsky, as well as the full-length cartoon "Fixies against Crabots".
Russian Film Festival is a project organized by Roskino with the support of the Ministry of Culture of the Russian Federation.
"These days we are presenting the Russian film industry on a large scale not only to a wide audience within the framework of the Russian Film Festival, but also to the professional industrial community in India at the largest film market in South Asia, Film Bazaar, which will open on November 20: Russian companies will bring more than 30 projects to the market. The holding of the Russian Film Festival together with the participation of Film Bazaar, as well as the recent series of educational seminars on India for Russian filmmakers under our brand ROSKINO Academy is a comprehensive strategy to strengthen the presence of Russian content in this large and complex market," the press service quoted Inna Shalyto, CEO of Roskino, as saying.
