On September 1, the photo exhibition "Russia from a bird's-eye view" opened at the Lyuberets Engineering and Technology Lyceum – 13 fascinating photos of participants and winners of the annual All-Russian photo contest "The Most Beautiful Country" held by the Russian Geographical Society.

The photo exhibition is organized by the Airplane group, the developer of the Lyubertsy residential complex, within which the Lyceum was built. The exhibition will last until October 1, after which the exposition will go to other schools built in the "Airplane" projects.

The purpose of the photo exhibition was to introduce schoolchildren to the vast expanses of their native country, taken from a bird's-eye view. At the exhibition, you can see the amazing White Rocks of Iturup, one of the oldest in Russia Tolbukhin Lighthouse, be surprised by the Adyghe "dragon" – the Karamuruntau ridge looks like a sleeping giant from one of the angles, and one of the seven wonders of Russia – the mysterious idols of the Manpupuner plateau.

Anyone can take part in the annual contest "The most beautiful country" – both professional photographers and amateurs. "The organization of such exhibition spaces in educational institutions expands the audience of the exhibition, gives students the opportunity to get acquainted with the modern art of photography, inspires, develops, helps to switch and get acquainted with geography a little more than a textbook. We also hope that thanks to cooperation we will be able to foster a careful attitude of students to the environment and love for the motherland through the art of photography," the representatives of the RGS noted.

"Urban infrastructure facilities are an inseparable part of residential development, creating which we take into account all the latest trends. For example, the space of new schools is filled in such a way that any student can find a room for their favorite activity. The school has everything on its territory - from sports stadiums and a choreographic studio to a media library. Such facilities are the center of educational and cultural life not only for children, but also for parents, provide a comfortable educational environment and serve as points of attraction for residents of our complexes," commented Alexey Kozlov, Managing Partner of the Airplane Group.

The Engineering and Technology Lyceum in the Lyubertsy Residential Complex is one of the few schools in the Moscow Region that have managed to become an educational, cultural, and sports ground for the local community in the new district. After completing lessons and developing classes for schoolchildren, various educational and sports programs for adults are held on its territory in the evening. Lyceum Director Alexander Ignatiev emphasizes the importance of initiatives that are interesting to a wide audience: "The exhibition of photographs of the Russian Geographical Society has become an example of a project for residents of all ages, which promotes comprehensive development, expanding horizons, fostering a taste for travel and new discoveries. This is an opportunity for children and their parents to spend time together in an interesting and useful way."
