A museum assembly has started its work in Kamchatka



It will run until March 1.
The Museum Assembly, which will be attended by about 80 representatives of museums from the regions of Russia, began work in Kamchatka on Monday morning. The participants of the event will discuss the socio-political role of the museum in the era of global transformations, the Regional Ministry of Culture told TASS.
"Among the participants of the assembly are representatives of the Hermitage and the Tretyakov Gallery, the Dahl State Museum of Literary History and the Pushkin State Museum of Fine Arts, the Tolstoy Estate Museum Yasnaya Polyana and the Arsenyev Museum-Reserve of the History of the Far East. Representatives of regional and municipal museums from the central regions of the country, Siberia and the Far Eastern Federal District are also invited to participate - about 80 people in total," the relevant ministry said.
It is reported that within the framework of the assembly in Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky, round tables, panel discussions and lectures by experts of museum business in Russia will be held. The museum assembly will be open until March 1.
