"Cheburashka" will be shown in the Middle East

The Russian film "Cheburashka" will be released in the Middle East in March. This was announced to TASS on Wednesday by the chairman of the Board of Directors of Soyuzmultfilm, Juliana Slashcheva. "In the near future — in March — the film distribution [of the film "Cheburashka"] begins in the Middle East," Slashcheva said.



The film Cheburashka, released in Russian cinemas on 1 January became the highest-grossing picture in the entire history of domestic distribution, bypassing the Comedy Klim shypenko "Slave" (2019) and the first part of the novels of James Cameron "Avatar" (2009). The director of "Cheburashka" was Dmitry Dyachenko. The family comedy tells about the new adventures of Cheburashka in a small seaside town, where he gets from a distant orange country. The main roles in the film were played by Sergey Garmash, Elena Yakovleva, Polina Maksimova, Fedor Dobronravov, Sergey Lavygin and others. Cheburashka was voiced by actress Olga Kuzmina.
