Israel continues the phased exit from quarantine.

On May 5, the authorities lifted the restriction that had previously prevented people from moving significantly away from home. Citizens were allowed to gather collectively in the open air, but so far no more than 20 people.

After the ban on visiting the Wailing Wall was lifted, believers again reached out to it. Of course, they must strictly comply with the main requirements of the Israeli Ministry of Health: maintain a minimum social distance of 2 meters, wear masks and follow the rules of personal hygiene.

In accordance with the instructions of the Ministry of Health The Western Wall Heritage Foundation fenced off and divided prayer areas near the main shrine for Jews into small areas. In total, up to 500 believers can be on the square at the same time, according to the new rules. Visitors will have their temperature taken before entering.

“I am very pleased with how quickly tourism-related facilities are reopening. So, from May 5, reserves and national parks began to open, from May 7, shopping centers and markets. The opening of museums and galleries is already scheduled for May 17. So far, all this is available only to Israelis, but I believe that the day is not far off when we will reopen the borders,” said & nbsp; Vladimir Shklyar, Director of the Department of the Ministry of Tourism of Israel in the Russian Federation and the CIS, Counselor of the Embassy of the State of Israel in Russia.
