8th Beijing International Film Festival opens in Beijing

The solemn ceremony was held on April 15 in the Huaizhou district in the north of the Chinese capital. During the week of film screenings, festival guests will have the opportunity to see 659 films from more than 70 countries and regions of the world. It is expected that - as in previous years - numerous contracts will be signed at the festival.
