Vietnam suffers little from coronavirus and believes in the gods

In Vietnam, they follow the rules of hygiene and are not afraid of COVID-19.


In the province of Phu Tho, in the central part of northern Vietnam, there is a temple of the Hung kings Hang Qing.

It is one of the most revered Buddhist shrines in the country. The temple began to be built about 900 years ago. Every year, at the end of April, a religious holiday is held here, which invariably gathers tens of thousands of believers.

Do Thi Yong, 64 years old, festival participant:

"In the current 2021 The entire world is fighting the coronavirus.I visited the Hang Qing Temple and found that its attendants strictly follow all the epidemiological measures.At the entrance to the temple, they distribute free masks and provide antibacterial gel.And in every building of the temple complex there are people who tell  "people about the need to follow these measures. So the people react to everything positively and very seriously."

Do Van Trung, 24, festival attendee:

"I think in Vietnam the authorities in their fight against the epidemic worked "excellent" and that it is unlikely that a third wave of coronavirus will come to us.Of course, we cannot lay down our arms in the fight against COVID-19, but it seems to me that there will be fewer cases of infection and smaller".

Since the beginning of the planetary pandemic in Vietnam, 35 people have died from the coronavirus, and approximately 28,700 have fallen ill.
