The Ministry of Health of Japan plans to make an official decision on November 10 on booster vaccination against coronavirus with Pfizer's drug.

On Thursday, a panel of experts from the ministry agreed that people who have already received two injections of the Pfizer vaccine will be able to get a third shot.

The Ministry plans to offer a booster dose about eight months after the second shot. Additional vaccinations are expected to begin in December for healthcare workers.

In addition, fully vaccinated citizens will receive a third injection of the same drug they were originally vaccinated with.
