Chinese vaccine delivered to Nepal

The last batch of a novel coronavirus vaccine purchased by Nepal from China in August arrived in Kathmandu. This was reported by local media.

According to The Kathmandu Post, a shipment of 4.4 million doses of vaccines arrived in the capital last Friday afternoon. The head of the National Immunization Program under the Ministry of Health and Population Sagar Dahal confirmed the arrival of this consignment.

These agencies show that 17.85 million doses of vaccine have been brought into the country to date from several countries. In August, Nepal bought 6 million doses of the drug from China. 
"We have vaccinated the largest number of people with the Chinese-made Vero Cell vaccine, according to the available resources," Dakhal said in an interview with a reporter. Xinhua on Sunday.

"There are hardly any complaints about side effects from the Chinese vaccine," Dakhal also noted, adding that the drug has gained widespread acceptance among the Nepalese population.< br>
