Yandex has been launching a hub in Turkey since March 1, a source familiar with the situation told TASS. According to the agency interlocutor, the hub, which includes a coworking and an office, is located in Istanbul.

"Yes, we are expanding the number of hubs. A new hub is being opened in Turkey," the source said. Registration in the new office will take up to three months, he added.

Yandex also confirmed to TASS the information about the opening of the office. "This office will be focused on teams that need to be in the country to develop services in the local market," the press service of the IT company said.

Representatives of Yandex noted that the company has been developing its Turkish business for a long time. "For example, cartographic and logistics services are already available to local users," they explained.

According to the information on the company's website, Yandex offices are located in 20 Russian cities, including Moscow and St. Petersburg, in the capital of Belarus - Minsk, Alma—Ata (Kazakhstan), Lucerne (Switzerland), Amsterdam (Netherlands), Shanghai (China), Newburyport (USA), as well as in Israel and the Czech Republic.
