Uzbekistan builds first solar power plant

Within the framework of this program, about 25 solar power plants will appear in Uzbekistan in the next decade, reports Sputnik-Uzbekistan. The first of them with a capacity of 100 MW will be laid down this year in the Navoi region.
The Deputy Minister noted that the work will begin before the end of this year and the construction will be completed within two years. To select an investor, a tender has been announced, for which 23 applications have already been submitted.
