Turkmenistan is interested in Russian IT specialists

The IT sphere of Turkmenistan is promising for the entry of Russian companies.
The digital sphere in Turkmenistan is actively developing in many sectors of the economy, and this market is very promising for Russian IT companies. This opinion was expressed in an interview with TASS by the trade representative of the Russian Federation in Turkmenistan Alexander Elizarov.
"The leadership of Turkmenistan plans the development of the country for decades to come, and therefore the digital economy is one of the priorities of the work.
I urge Russian companies to work more actively in this area, which has great prospects for them. One of the effective tools for promotion is participation in the international exhibition "Turkmentel", which traditionally takes place in November," the trade representative said, commenting on the Russian—Turkmen business forum held in Ashgabat.
Yelizarov recommended that Russian companies that want to enter the Turkmen market take an active part in exhibitions held in the country. "I recommend Russian companies to get acquainted with the information on the website of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Turkmenistan, where the calendar of industry exhibitions is posted. It is worth noting that traditionally, vice premiers, ministers, heads of major industry agencies and enterprises visit the exhibitions to get acquainted with advanced technologies and developments, there is an opportunity to approach them and communicate," he said.
The Russian-Turkmen Business Forum was held in Ashgabat on January 19-20. The plenary session was attended by Deputy Prime Minister, Foreign Minister of Turkmenistan Rashid Meredov and Prime Minister of the Russian Federation Mikhail Mishustin. More than 200 Russian and more than 150 Turkmen companies participated in the event.
