Russian President Vladimir Putin sent a greeting to the participants of the XI International Economic Summit "Russia - Islamic World: KazanSummit". The text was published Thursday on the Kremlin website.

“Muslim countries are Russia's traditional partners in promoting intercivilizational and interfaith dialogue, in efforts to ensure security and stability at the regional and global level. I note with satisfaction that our ties in the economic sphere are also developing very dynamically, becoming more and more diverse,” the greeting reads.

The international economic summit "Russia - the Islamic world: KazanSummit" takes place on April 24-26. Representatives of international organizations, public authorities, financial institutions, parliamentarians, leading investors and businessmen, top managers of Russian and foreign companies take part in its work.
