The formation of the Greater Eurasian Partnership will be discussed at the WEF-2021

The formation of the Greater Eurasian Partnership will be discussed as part of the international events of the VI Eastern Economic Forum, which will be held on September 2-4 in Vladivostok.
The President of Russia Vladimir Putin had earlier initiated the creation of such a partnership and was supported by all the states of the Eurasian Economic Union.
The process of forming the Greater Eurasian Partnership has already been launched in the form of integration processes, the creation of new free trade zones, the improvement of transport infrastructure, and the development of the digital economy. At the same time, obstacles remain on the way to achieving equal and mutually beneficial cooperation: from insufficient coordination of national development strategies to a lack of information and a lack of trust. At the same time, all participants are interested in the speedy recovery of the economy and the strengthening of infrastructural interconnectedness.
“The Eastern Economic Forum is an important platform for the development of fruitful and long-term cooperation between Russia and the Asia-Pacific countries. At the same time, the business program of the Forum pays considerable attention to the development of integration processes in Greater Eurasia, primarily in the trade and economic sphere. The Far East is a strategic macro-region in this direction. I am confident that the participation of key speakers from different countries will allow for a high-quality discussion and formulate specific solutions to achieve common goals for the formation of the Greater Eurasian Partnership,” said Adviser to the President of the Russian Federation, Executive Secretary of the Organizing Committee of the Eastern Economic Forum Anton Kobyakov. b>
Participants of the session of the Eastern Economic Forum will discuss: Will the economies of states, entrepreneurs and residents of the Eurasian countries benefit from such a partnership? Can transport and economic corridors become the backbone of Greater Eurasia? Is the prospect of creating a Greater Eurasian energy space realistic? How do you see the future of the financial dimension of Greater Eurasia? Is digital capable of playing the role of a driving force for conjugating national development strategies? Authoritative experts from Russia and Eurasian countries will take part in the discussion.
Recall that the business program of the EEF-2021 includes four main areas: "The economy of the new time: what will change and what will remain", "The Far East - new challenges and opportunities ”, “Shared Responsibility in a Changed World” and “Youth WEF”. International events will include business dialogues: "Russia - ASEAN", "Russia - Korea", "Russia - China", "Russia - India", "Russia - Europe". Also planned are an APEC conference on higher education and a conference dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Russia and Mongolia.
