The first air carrier departs from Dubai to Minsk



flydubai, an airline headquartered in Dubai, has announced the launch of flights to Minsk, the capital of Belarus. The carrier will operate three flights a week between Dubai International Airport (DXB) and Minsk National Airport (MSQ) starting February 20.
flydubai will be the first carrier from Dubai to offer direct flights on this route.
With the launch of flights to Minsk, flydubai's route network will expand to over 70 destinations. The airline is gradually expanding the geography of flights and recently announced the launch of flights to a number of destinations, including Colombo, Doha, Maldives, Istanbul, and also opened flights to Grozny, Salzburg, to Malta and Tel Aviv
Commenting on the flight announcement, flydubai CEO Geith Al Ghaith (Ghaith Al Ghaith) said: “Minsk is a new destination in our route network. The launch of flights on this route underscores our commitment to open up previously untapped markets. We now fly to 72 destinations, of which more than 40 did not previously have direct flights to Dubai or were not served by UAE national carriers from Dubai.”

The airline has made changes to the rules for the carriage of passengers to ensure the safety of air travel, minimizing contact between crew and passengers so that passengers feel confident at every stage of the journey. The airline recently announced expanded travel insurance that includes coverage for COVID-19 related expenses so that flydubai passengers can travel with more peace of mind.
In the UAE, flydubai is also partnering with Aster DM Healthcare and NMC Healthcare to offer passengers PCR testing at special rates. Passengers must present a valid flydubai Booking Confirmation, along with their Emirates ID or a copy of their passport, in order to benefit from special fares.
Passengers are requested to check all regulations applicable to their itinerary on the dedicated IATA Travel Centre, as well as comply with government and airline requirements.
Business Class fares from DXB to MSQ are AED 5,500 round trip and Economy Class fares are AED 168,800.
Business Class round trip fares MSQ to DXB sides are $1,500 and economy fares are $390.
