South Korea reaches record export of high-tech products



In March, it amounted to $23.26 billion, which is 33.6% more than in the same period in 2021.
South Korean exports in the field of information and communication technologies (ICT) amounted to $23.26 billion in March this year. This is 33.6% more than in the same month of 2021, the Ministry of Science and Information and Communication Technologies announced on Thursday.
According to the agency, this is a monthly record since 1996, when the collection of relevant statistics began. The previous record was $22.14 billion in December last year.
ICT imports totaled $12.86 billion in March, with a trade surplus of $10.4 billion.

The volume of deliveries of ICT products to China, Vietnam, the USA, the European Union and Japan has grown significantly, the ministry notes.
