S7 Airlines will resume flights from Irkutsk to Bangkok

Regular flights between Irkutsk and Bangkok will resume in November.


S7 Airlines will resume direct flights from Irkutsk to Bangkok, the capital of Thailand, interrupted due to the coronavirus pandemic, from November 2, 2022. This was announced on Monday by the press service of the air carrier.

"S7 Airlines has opened the sale of air tickets for flights from Irkutsk to Bangkok. The first flight to the capital of Thailand will depart on November 2. Flights from Irkutsk to Bangkok and back from November 2 to December 11 will be operated five times a week - on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays. From December 12, the flight will become daily until the end of the winter season," the message says.

As specified on Monday in the press service of the Irkutsk airport, the flight time will be about six hours. Air transportation will be carried out by Boeing 737-800 aircraft.

Since October 1, 2022, all covid restrictions have been lifted in Thailand.
