Qanot Sharq will launch a direct flight from St. Petersburg to Samarkand

The Uzbek airline Qanot Sharq Airlines will launch direct passenger flights from St. Petersburg to Samarkand from July 21, the press service of the Pulkovo airport management company "Air Gates of the northern Capital" reported on Wednesday.

"Since July 21, the airline Qanot Sharq launches direct flights to Samarkand from Pulkovo Airport. You can fly to one of the most famous historical cities of Uzbekistan on Thursdays. According to the schedule, departure from St. Petersburg is scheduled at 4:45, arrival in Samarkand - at 11:15. Return flight from Samarkand airport - at 00:25, arrival at Pulkovo airport - at 03:15,"the press service said.

The airline will operate Airbus A320 passenger liners with a capacity of 174 seats.

Earlier, on June 28, Qanot Sharq Airlines also launched direct flights from St. Petersburg to Bukhara.

According to the press service, the direction to Samarkand is one of the most popular in Pulkovo. Previously, Uzbekistan Airways was the only carrier that operates direct flights.
