A month before the start of the VII Eastern Economic Forum, representatives of 40 countries confirmed their participation.

"Such a significant interest in the forum underlines that the WEF has become the most popular global business platform for expanding international cooperation in the Asia-Pacific region. We expect the participation of foreign leaders and high-level guests. Traditionally, a rich business program has been prepared, dedicated to the most pressing issues of the development of the Far East, the global and regional economy, international cooperation, as well as discussion of the trajectory of overcoming the crisis and the new architecture of the world. Today we have already found ourselves in a new reality, our key task, formulated in the main theme of the forum – "On the way to a multipolar world" – is to rebuild business processes, find new points of support for economic cooperation and growth. I am sure that the Forum will once again confirm the status of the leading communication platform in the Asia–Pacific region," said the Adviser to the President of the Russian Federation, Executive Secretary of the WEF Organizing CommitteeAnton Kobyakov.

The program of the VII Eastern Economic Forum includes more than 70 business events. Within the framework of the forum, country business dialogues will be held: "Russia - India", "Russia – Vietnam", "Russia – ASEAN", as well as a meeting of the Business Council "Russia – China" and a conference on investment and trade in the Arctic. It is expected that about 4,000 delegates and media representatives will take part in the WEF-2022.
