The international exhibition of consumer goods has started its work in Hainan

The opening ceremony of the 2nd China International Consumer Goods Exhibition was held on Monday at the Hainan International Exhibition Center in Haikou (Hainan Province, South China). This is reported by the correspondent of TASS.

"I declare the 2nd China International Consumer Goods Exhibition and the Global Consumer Forum open," the ex-head of the Hong Kong Administration, Deputy Chairman of the All—China Committee of the People's Political Consultative Council of China (VK NPKSK, the supreme advisory body of the People's Republic of China) of the 13th convocation said at the ceremonyLiang Zhenying.

He stressed that this year's expo corresponds to the trend of development and strengthening of openness, meets the aspirations and call of peoples around the world for open cooperation.

The second China International Consumer Goods Exhibition will be held from July 25 to July 30, it will be attended by over 2.8 thousand brands from more than 60 countries and regions of the world. The total area of the exhibition this year will be 100 thousand square meters, 80 thousand of which will be occupied by foreign participants. The remaining 20 thousand square meters will accommodate Chinese companies from all regions of the country. It is expected that over 40 thousand business representatives will visit the exhibition.

The opening ceremony marked the beginning of the Expo business program. The exhibition itself will begin work on Tuesday: from July 26 to 28, the exposition will be open only to representatives of the business community and the media, and on July 29-30 it will be available to everyone.
