Thirty Moscow companies took part in the international IT exhibition Gitex in Dubai, entrepreneurs presented their developments under the single brand Made in Moscow. This was reported on Thursday in the press service of the Moscow Department of Entrepreneurship and Innovative Development.

"This year at the Dubai exhibition, 30 Moscow companies presented their most promising and in-demand developments, including in the field of management and implementation of IT systems. This is twice as much as in 2021. In total, entrepreneurs held over 500 meetings with potential clients - representatives of business, major banks and government agencies," said Natalia Sergunina, Deputy Mayor of Moscow.

She noted that the United Arab Emirates (UAE) is one of the fastest growing markets for Moscow companies. The volume of non-primary non-energy exports of Moscow to the UAE in 2021 increased seven-fold and amounted to 34.9 billion rubles.

It is clarified that the entire business part of the program was financed by the Moscow Export Center (MEC). The IEC has been supporting the participation of the city's IT companies in Gitex for five years. This time, developers of IT systems for feedback and online monitoring in construction, as well as manufacturers of 3D printers, interactive robots and others performed under a single Made in Moscow brand. One of the entrepreneurs presented a digital twin of structural elements of buildings and mechanisms, which helps to control production, logistics and even installation of products from anywhere in the world.

"The Gitex exhibition has been held in the United Arab Emirates since 1981. This year, more than 4.5 thousand companies from more than 170 countries presented their developments," the press service recalled.
