The number of flights from Mongolia to Russia and back will increase to four per week

The number of Ulaanbaatar - Ulan—Ude flights will increase to four per week from June 30. This was reported on Monday by the Mongolian information portal Sonin.

To date, this is the only way of air communication from Russia to Mongolia. Until now, planes on this route fly twice a week on Tuesdays and Saturdays. From June 30, flights on Thursdays and Sundays will be added to them. In conditions of limited international flights, many Russians fly to Mongolia to go further to South Korea and Japan. Mongolian citizens fly to Russia via Ulan-Ude to go further to Moscow and other Russian cities. The flights are operated by the ATR-72 aircraft of the Mongolian airline Hunnu Air.
