Two exploratory wells were drilled at the Shunbei field. At present, their daily output is about 2 thousand tons of hydrocarbons per day.

The Shunbei oil and gas field is located in the central part of the Tarim oil and gas basin on the border of the Aksu and Korla districts of the Xinjiang Uyghur Autonomous Region. The depth of the resources here is about 8 thousand meters. As of 2021, the proven oil reserves at the Shunbei field were more than 130 million tons.
