The world's second largest electric car manufacturer has entered the Japanese market.

The Chinese company BYD already sells its electric vehicles in about 70 countries and territories.

On Tuesday, the manufacturer introduced its Atto 3 crossover to the Japanese market.

The power reserve of the car is about 480 kilometers with one charge. It implements the most advanced security technologies.
The car is offered at a price of about 34 thousand dollars. This is almost 8 thousand dollars cheaper than similar models from Japanese manufacturers.

BYD announced its plans to start selling in Japan in July last year. By the end of this year, the company also intends to offer buyers a mini-car and a sedan.
