Eurasian Development Bank and Samruk-Kazyna Invest agreed on cooperation

The Eurasian Development Bank (EDB) and Samruk-Kazyna Invest LLP signed a Memorandum of Cooperation to implement projects in the Republic of Kazakhstan.


Partnerships include the exchange of information on promising investments of analytical, statistical, legal content, on best practices for the preparation and implementation of projects, on interaction with international development institutions,” the press service of the EDB told the media resource “Greater Asia”.

“We are interested in the preparation and implementation of investment projects in Kazakhstan, primarily with an integration component. We organize joint expert, information-analytical and research work for the practical application of its results in the development of such projects. The establishment of partnerships is aimed at developing long-term, effective and mutually beneficial cooperation,” said Amangeldy Issenov, Deputy Chairman of the Board EDB.

Nurzhan Abdymomunov, General Director of Samruk-Kazyna Invest LLP, added: “During the meeting, key areas of cooperation were discussed, of which the most interesting for us is the development of green energy. The activity of the Eurasian Development Bank is clearly an indispensable tool for improving sectoral projects in all regions of the participating countries. Samruk-Kazyna Invest, in turn, expresses a high degree of interest in providing a comfortable environment for activities in the field of direct investment in the territory of the Republic of Kazakhstan. Moreover, we are ready to consider joint work on projects and look forward to long-term and fruitful cooperation with the Eurasian Development Bank.”
