Contracts of Kazakh businessmen at Prodexpo exceeded $101 million

Kazakh businessmen signed contracts worth more than $101 million at an exhibition in Moscow.

Kazakh entrepreneurs signed export contracts worth over $101 million during the Prodexpo International Food Exhibition held in the Russian capital. This was announced on Monday by the press service of the Prime Minister of Kazakhstan.

“20 manufacturing companies from Kazakhstan took part in the Prodexpo International Food Exhibition. As a result of the work of the national stand, Kazakhstani entrepreneurs signed export contracts worth more than $101 million,” the report says.

During the exhibition, about 200 meetings were held between representatives of Kazakhstani companies federal and regional retail chains in Russia and other countries.

“Fat and oil products aroused the greatest interest among buyers of Kazakh products. The second most popular commodity among Russian and international traders is Kazakh ice cream. Also, buyers pay great attention to Kazakh soft drinks, juices, beer, fresh, freshly frozen and processed vegetables and fruits, fruit and berry purees, flour, pasta, as well as honey, dairy and confectionery products,” the press service said.< br>
The 29th International Exhibition of Food, Drinks and Raw Materials for Their Production "Prodexpo-2022" was held in Moscow from February 7 to 11.
