Azerbaijan opens business center in Astrakhan

As the Minister of Economy of the Republic of Azerbaijan Shahin Abdulla oglu Mustafayev noted at the opening ceremony, the Russian Federation is one of the main trade partners of the Republic. That is why the first trade representation was opened here. 

The Azerbaijani minister also noted that economic relations between the two countries are now showing positive dynamics in almost all areas. Trade turnover is growing, which in the first quarter of this year alone increased by a third compared to last year. The range of areas for mutual investment is expanding, which amounted to more than $1 billion from the Azerbaijani side and about $4 billion from the Russian side. exceeded $16 million 

In his response, the head of the Astrakhan region, Alexander Zhilkin, stressed that the Astrakhan business center is currently being built in the Azerbaijani capital, with the opening of which there will be more opportunities for developing business ties. 

The Azerbaijani business center occupies more than 5 thousand square meters and was built exclusively at the expense of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation. Also, the Astrakhan school, which bears the name of the first president of the country, was reconstructed at the expense of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
