An agreement was signed on the supply of Ka-32A11BC helicopters to Turkey

The contract for the supply of three helicopters between Russian Helicopters and Kaan Air was signed at the international air show Eurasia Airshow, which takes place in Antalya, Turkey.


The agreement involves the supply of three vehicles to the Turkish side during the current year. Helicopters will be used to extinguish fires. 

“The agreement signed today opens up a new market segment for Russian Helicopters – this will be the first delivery of civilian helicopters to Turkey, and I am sure not the last. The Ka-32A11BC has proven itself in fighting fires all over the world, and we are ready to ensure its successful operation in Turkey as well,” TASS reports the words of Andrey Boginsky, CEO of the holding, with reference to the holding’s press service. 

The Ka-32A11BC multi-purpose helicopter is designed to perform special search and rescue and high-altitude assembly operations, transport cargo inside the fuselage and on an external sling, skidding, evacuation of the sick and injured, the most complex firefighting measures, as well as patrolling and supporting special operations, – reported on the Russian Helicopters website. 

Currently, these aircraft are in service with various services in South Korea, Indonesia, China and a number of other countries.
