President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin sent a greeting to the participants of the General Assembly of Eurasian Peoples.


The President noted that the Assembly, established four years ago, brings together representatives of the creative and scientific intelligentsia, business circles and non-governmental organizations, talented and caring youth from dozens of countries. It provides them with an excellent opportunity for an open, interested discussion of a wide range of problems related to the prospects for the development of multilateral cooperation, integration in the Eurasian space.

“Today, in a difficult international situation, it is important to fully use the significant creative potential of the Assembly - as one of the forums of public diplomacy - to strengthen the traditions of friendship, good neighborliness, and mutual understanding on the Eurasian continent, building up contacts in all areas of humanitarian cooperation, in business, tourism, and sports. And of course, it is necessary to give priority attention to such a key topic as preserving the historical truth about the Second World War and the Great Patriotic War,” Vladimir Putin emphasized.

The President of the Russian Federation wished the participants of the General Assembly of Eurasian Peoples fruitful communication and success in their multifaceted activity.
