The results of the work of the Eurasian Peoples' Assembly in 2019 were summed up in Moscow

The Eurasian Peoples' Assembly held in Moscow, in the building of the Public Chamber of the Russian Federation, an expanded meeting of the General Council.







2019 results were discussed by close collaborators with the International Organization and promotes its activities. For two days, the experts talked about the successes of the Assembly and talked about its development. We looked into the future and set new goals for the coming year 2020.

One of the most important issues was the organization and holding of the Eurasian Games. This unique sporting event will take place in 2025 on the territory of the Republic of Bashkortostan. The program will include both Olympic and national sports.

“The leadership of Bashkortostan agreed with us and offered their region as a venue for this sporting event. Now the main task is to bring this idea to the international level. The infrastructure in Ufa is highly developed and almost ready for an event of this level. These games will be out of politics and all sanctions. They will be held honestly, objectively,” said the Secretary General of the Eurasian Peoples' Assembly Andrey Belyaninov.

As part of business meetings, participants and experts discussed the economic, youth, humanitarian and, of course, information strategies for the development of the Assembly. The head of the media resource "Greater Asia" Alexander Lebedev spoke about how the most important events of the International Organization were covered at the meeting.

The Media Group and the Assembly have been working together for over two years now. The stories were aired dedicated to the solemn reception in honor of the International Day of Peace, the signing of the Cooperation Agreements between the Assembly and the Republic of Bashkortostan, the Assembly and the Georgian Euro-Asian Alliance, and materials about the new vector of Eurasian cooperation were published on the website. Andrey Belyaninov thanked the journalists of the TV channel and the website for their professional work.

“We have an absolutely unified view on information cooperation in the Asian-European direction,” said  Alexander Lebedev, General Director of the Big Asia TV channel. - Together with the Assembly, we want these trends to change, so that we receive information on the key agenda from Asia. Together with the Assembly, we have created a platform: the TV channel and the Great Asia website. I am sure that events held in this format are another step towards the development of information cooperation.”

The expanded meeting of the General Council has become a platform that brings together long-term partners of the organization and those who are just making themselves known. The Eurasian Peoples' Assembly is actively working to expand cooperation with representatives of different countries and structures. Experts analyze projects and events that are aimed at developing cultural, humanitarian and economic cooperation, interethnic and interreligious dialogue, business partnerships, establishing new business contacts and exchanging experience.

As part of the business meeting, representatives of the Eurasian Peoples' Assembly signed several cooperation agreements: with the Eurasian Creative Guild of London, the Russian-French Economic Chamber and the African Publishing House.
