In Bashkiria, a temporary clinical and diagnostic infectious disease center is being built in Sterlitamak.

The construction is based on good experience in the construction of an infectious diseases hospital near Ufa. Today, more than 400 people and more than 60 units of equipment work at the construction site. All work is carried out around the clock. All concrete works are 100 percent completed, tree planting and landscaping are nearing completion.

The total bed capacity of the new building is 60 round-the-clock boxes and 14 resuscitation boxes. The Sterlitamak Infection Center will have a surgical department where doctors will be able to perform operations on patients with COVID-19 and other infections.

The center will also include an obstetric and gynecological unit, an admission and diagnostic department (including rooms for computed tomography, endoscopy, ultrasound diagnostics, functional diagnostics and an X-ray room) , bacteriological laboratory, pharmacy.

Doctors will be able to live in a comfortable hostel with 40 beds.

The quality and timeliness of the delivery of the object is personally controlled The Prime Minister of Bashkortostan - the head Representations of the Eurasian Peoples' Assembly in the Republic of Bashkortostan (Russia) Andrey Nazarov.

“The infection center that we are currently building in Sterlitamak will be the best in Russia both in terms of equipment and treatment technology. In addition to 74 standard isolated wards and 14 intensive care units (one of them for newborns), we will also build an operating unit, as well as a children's, maternity and reception department. In general, everything will be in one place. To date, 7 regions of the country have shown interest in our project. In two of them, they have already begun to build their own hospitals, taking into account our developments, and our Bashkir builders are working in Chelyabinsk. After we complete the work, we will be able to offer our project to other countries. By the way, one of these days I will again present our hospital at the forum in Moscow. Colleagues are asking for this,” Andrey Nazarov said.

Doctors will receive the first patients in the new hospital on December 1st.

“The facility will be commissioned on time and will be in no way inferior to world-class clinics,” emphasized the head of the Representative Office of the Eurasian Peoples' Assembly in Bashkiria.
