The Eurasian Peoples' Assembly strengthens its sports and media positions

The Eurasian Peoples' Assembly plans to seriously deal with the topic of sports. Recently, the Secretary General of the organization Andrey Belyaninov signed an agreement on cooperation with the Combat Sambo Federation of Russia. This union aims to promote a healthy lifestyle.

“Now many boys leave school unadapted to life, they cannot stand up for themselves. As a rule, strong people are generous, they are kind and do not strive to implement the skills that they have acquired while practicing martial arts, and sambo is a martial art. They just go through life with confidence. Self-affirmation through sports is also very important,” said Andrey Belyaninov, Secretary General of the Eurasian Peoples’ Assembly.

international arena. The organization holds up to 10 thousand competitions a year, the nearest event is the Eurasian Combat Sambo Championship in Yalta.

“Our most famous fighters are Khabib Nurmagomedov, Fedor Emelianenko, Alexey Oleinik, Oleg Taktarov and others fighters known in the world. They always attract with their skill. I think this will attract additional interest in our events,” Alexei Maly, President of the Combat Sambo Federation of Russia, expressed hope.

The Eurasian Peoples' Assembly is also interested in expanding cooperation with media holdings.  The experience of interaction with the TV channel "Big Asia" gave positive results. This year, the organization entered into an agreement on information cooperation with the BRICS TV media resource.

“For us, this is a kind of popularization of the work of the Assembly, PR, useful for us. More and more people know about us, and we have something to say. We have a large number of events of various kinds,” Andrey Belyaninov emphasized.

After the signing of the agreements, a working meeting was held with the Coordinating Council of the Youth Assembly of the Eurasian Peoples. Representatives from India, Palestine, Kyrgyzstan and Germany joined the meeting via video link.

The participants shared their ideas: from employment in the Far East to the promotion of the Russian language in the CIS countries. They also summed up the results of the organization's activities over the past six months, discussed the work plan and development strategy of the Youth Assembly.
