The Eurasian Peoples' Assembly and the MIC "Maribor" signed an agreement

On March 23, at the headquarters in Moscow, the International Union of Non-Governmental Organizations "Eurasian Peoples' Assembly" and the International Research Center of the Second World War in the city of Maribor (IC "Maribor") signed a cooperation agreement.


The agreement was signed Andrei Belyaninov, Secretary General of the Eurasian Peoples' Assembly and Janez Ujcic, General Director of IIC "Maribor".


Under the agreement, the parties plan to hold joint bilateral and multilateral events, develop and implement educational programs, and promote the improvement of long-term and comprehensive scientific relations between organizations from different countries on the principles of reciprocity to participate in joint practical projects.

IC « Maribor is one of the most recognizable projects of the Embassy of the Russian Federation in the Republic of Slovenia in terms of historical and memorial. The creation of the MIC was approved in July 2016 by the President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin. The MIC began its work in November 2017. The path to the implementation of this important project was not easy and thorny. MIC actively cooperates with public organizations, scientific institutions, veterans, youth and other partners.
