In his greeting to the participants of the General Assembly of the Eurasian Peoples, Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Viktorovich Lavrov noted that the deepening of integration processes on our vast continent is one of the unconditional priorities of Russia's foreign policy:

“As you know, President Vladimir Putin put forward an initiative to create a Greater Eurasian Partnership with the participation of such associations as the EAEU, SCO, ASEAN and, if there is a corresponding interest, the European Union. It is envisaged to combine national development strategies, multilateral integration formats and cross-border infrastructure projects.

Civil society institutions are also called upon to play a significant role in the implementation of such a large-scale plan. We appreciate the energetic and versatile activities of the Assembly to unite young people, prominent representatives of political, public, scientific and business circles. Your work is designed to help unleash the significant potential of public diplomacy in strengthening the atmosphere of trust and mutual understanding between peoples.

I hope that the implementation of today's forum's rich program will help establish useful contacts and implement promising joint initiatives.
