Public projects of the Caspian region to be discussed in Astrakhan

In 2021, the Center for International and Public Studies "Caspian-Eurasia" celebrates its fifth anniversary. Two major international events are timed to coincide with this date, which will be held in Astrakhan on April 16 and 17.


These are the International round table "Perspective map of public projects of the Caspian region - 2025: Russia, Kazakhstan and Azerbaijan" and media training for leaders and leaders of NGOs "Projects of public diplomacy in the social media of the countries of the Caspian region".

The meetings are organized by the Center for International research "Caspian-Eurasia" and the Political Center "North-South" (Moscow, Russia) with the support of the Agency for International Relations of the Astrakhan Region and the Civil Alliance of Kazakhstan (Nur-Sultan, Kazakhstan).

First day of work - April 16 - non-governmental organizations of the Caspian region will discuss issues & nbsp; and exchange experiences at the round table "Perspective map of public projects of the Caspian region - 2025: Russia, Kazakhstan and Azerbaijan". The agenda includes the following issues for discussion:

The Caspian Agenda until 2025: features of cultural and humanitarian cooperation.
The role of non-governmental organizations and the civil sector in the development of humanitarian projects and initiatives in the Caspian.
Successful practices in organization of the work of non-governmental organizations: the experience of the states of the Caspian region.
Speakers and participants in the discussion will be: Consul General of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Astrakhan Mehdi Akuchakian, Consul General of the Republic of Kazakhstan in Astrakhan Tauboldy Umbetbaev, Consul of Turkmenistan in Astrakhan Guych Garaev, Head of Administration of the Governor of the Astrakhan Region Pavel Pautov, Head of the International Relations Agency of the Astrakhan Region Vladimir Golovkov, First Deputy Secretary General - Head of the General Secretariat of the Eurasian Peoples' Assembly Svetlana Smirnova, Rector of the Astrakhan State Technical University Alexander Nevalenny, media expert , Deputy General Director of the International Information Agency "Trend" Gulnara Mammadzade, President of the Civil Alliance of Kazakhstan Banu Nurgaziyeva, Deputy Head of the General Secretariat for International Cooperation of the Eurasian Peoples' Assembly Yulia Petrova, representative of the Agency for Strategic Initiatives of the Astrakhan Region Alexander Solovyov and others.

On the second day of the program - April 17 - the leaders of non-governmental organizations will have a media training "Projects of public diplomacy in the social media of the countries of the Caspian region". Intensive work in this direction will allow the participants of the event to improve their skills in working with the media. Experts, including leading editors, journalists, marketers, offer the following topics for training:

Fundamentals of content marketing. Creation of multi-genre content. Methods of promotion in social networks.
NPOs and the media - how to work together;
Opportunities for communication promotion of the activities of non-governmental organizations
Media technologies at the service of NPOs (secrets of creating "delicious" video content)
Among media experts such well-known names are announced in the media environment of the Caspian region as: journalist, media expert, Deputy General Director of the International Information Agency "Trend" Gulanara Mammadzade (Baku, Azerbaijan), journalist and political scientist Zhanar Tulindinova (Nur-Sultan, Kazakhstan), Executive Director of the IMARS PR agency Alexander Revskiy (Moscow, Russia), blogger Roman Kolymzhanov (Astrakhan, Russia), head of the MIX marketing agency Marina Linko (Astrakhan, Russia).

Both events will be held offline and online (on Zoom and YouTube platforms).
