On October 2, 2020, the Secretary General of the Eurasian Peoples’ Assembly Andrey Belyaninov sent a congratulatory letter to the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of India to the Russian Federation Venkatesh Varma in connection with the great Indian national holiday Gandhi Jayanti.

Gandhi Jayanti is the birthday of the great Mohandas Karamchanda Gandhi and the International Day of Non-Violence.

The congratulation, in particular, says:

- The father of the Indian state, a true patriot of his homeland, has become a man of the world. The philosophy of non-violence of Mahatma Gandhi for all progressive mankind is an immutable life-affirming law. Thanks to precisely such ideas and canons, peace and harmony will prevail on planet Earth.

The Eurasian Peoples' Assembly, respecting the beliefs and worldview of the Indian public and political figure, in its activities is guided by universal norms of humanity and non-violence, a moral duty to our ancestors and future generations - the culture of world values, which contains common, basic foundations for all peoples, such as God, love, friendship, faith, social unity, family, morality, ethics, morality, world peace, goodness, justice, freedom, universal prosperity.

On behalf of the Eurasian Peoples' Assembly, I wish the world's largest democracy - the Republic of India - and its peoples eternal peace, unfading prosperity and boundless happiness!
