On August 28, the XVI International Festival of Documentary Films and TV Programs "WIN TOGETHER" will open in Sevastopol

This year the film forum is dedicated to the 75th anniversary of the Victory in the Great Patriotic War.

Since 2019, the Eurasian Peoples' Assembly has been one of the co-organizers of the festival and is directly involved in its preparation and holding.

Over the years of its existence, the festival has acquired the status of one of the leading international events, providing a unique opportunity for a creative dialogue between documentary filmmakers from Eurasia and other continents of the Earth. This year, the competition program of the festival includes more than 150 films from 37 countries of the world.

The festival program includes four international competitions: a documentary film competition, a television competition, a film school competition and a competition for social short films, social videos and social advertising. The diverse and rich out-of-competition program of the film review includes creative meetings, special programs of film screenings, and conferences. Pitching of international film and television projects will traditionally take place during the days of the festival.

The end of the XVI Sevastopol International Festival of Documentary Films and TV Programs “WIN TOGETHER” will be born at the festival last year with the support of the Eurasian Peoples’ Assembly, the International Public Forum on Preserving the Memory of World War II and the Great Patriotic War.

For the first time held as part of the XV Film Festival "WIN TOGETHER" in May 2019 forum was continued in Baku in October 2019, then in February 2020 in Yalta  ;and June 17 2020  was held online, bringing together representatives of 15 countries.

The goal of the forum is being consistently implemented - to draw attention to the issues of preserving the historical memory of peoples, to support the movement against the erosion of the value and semantic aspects of history, the falsification of the results of the Second World War; intensify the search for new practices for the formation of constructive and constructive images of the memory of the Victory over fascism, which would help strengthen mutual understanding and peaceful relations between countries and peoples.
