Olympic champions - Russian athletes joined the Eurasian social movement

At the meeting in Moscow, Alexander Muromsky introduced the new members of the Council of the Eurasian Peoples' Assembly for national sports - Olympic champions Dmitry Trunenkov and Andrey Silnov, multiple world champion Olga Kapranova and legendary boxer Konstantin Tszyu.

"We held a meeting of the Council of the Eurasian Peoples' Assembly on national sports, 29 unique personalities were present," said  Chairman of the Council Alexander Muromsky, a Russian athlete, entrepreneur, philanthropist, 11-time Guinness Book of Records record holder. - We agreed on further development and admission of new members to the Council: Dmitry Trunenkov, Olympic champion in bobsleigh, public figure, chief of the Yunarmiya General Staff, lieutenant of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation, Andrey Silnov, Olympic champion in athletics, Honored Master of Sports of Russia, Olga Kapranova, 10-time champion world in rhythmic gymnastics, Honored Master of Sports of Russia and Kostya Tszyu - boxer, three-time USSR champion, two-time European champion, absolute world champion, Honored Master of Sports of the USSR, included in the International Boxing Hall of Fame as a person who made a huge contribution to the development of this sport.

Among the main tasks of the Council of the Eurasian Peoples' Assembly and in national sports - the development of sports diplomacy in the Eurasian space, building mutual understanding and cooperation in the field of national sports and culture in the name of friendship and mutual understanding of the peoples of Eurasia.

One of the programs in the field of sports and youth policy is the creation of the Youth Assembly of the Peoples of Eurasia, the development of youth Eurasian cooperation through volunteering and healthy lifestyle programs.

"Let's create new projects for our children and grandchildren on the basis of the Eurasian Peoples' Assembly," said Alexander Muromsky. "To implement them together and make it a rule to discuss what unites us."

“People want trust, to communicate, to meet, and this, fortunately, is happening,” Andrei Belyaninov emphasized. “People are really tired of ill-conceived political decisions, of bedlam, which sometimes then settles in the minds. The Eurasian Peoples' Assembly is a different level of trust, universal. This is the value that is undoubtedly worth fighting for."

The events and projects of the Eurasian Peoples' Assembly are aimed at activating the social integration model of a large Eurasian partnership of peoples based on spiritual and moral principles, in the name of establishing peace and harmony, through the development of a multilateral cooperation and public diplomacy. The General Council of the organization includes representatives of 30 countries. Secretary General of the Eurasian Peoples' Assembly - Chairman of the Board of the Eurasian Development Bank Andrey Belyaninov.
