General Assembly and Assembly Days to be held in Bashkiria in July

In the capital of the Republic of Bashkortostan in the city of Ufa in July 2021, the Days of the Eurasian Peoples' Assembly and the General Assembly of the International Union of Non-Governmental Organizations will be held.


The decision was made during an expanded online meeting of the General Council of the Eurasian Peoples’ Assembly on January 28, 2021, which was attended by the Prime Minister of the Government of the Republic of Bashkortostan, Head of the Representation of the Eurasian Peoples’ Assembly in the Republic of Bashkortostan (Russia) Andrey Nazarov.

Recall that the General Assembly is held by the International Union of Non-Governmental Organizations once every four years. The start date of the event is tentatively scheduled for July 3, 2021.

The World Folkloriada will also be held in the Republic during the Assembly Days, and the delegation of the Eurasian Peoples’ Assembly will take part in it.

According to the Chairman of the State Committee of the Republic Bashkortostan for Foreign Economic Relations and Congress Activities Margarita Bolycheva, within the framework of the Days of the Assembly, a presentation of the "Eurasiade" - the largest First Eurasian Games, which will be held in Ufa in 2025, is planned. A press tour of the tourist attractions of Bashkiria for the regional and international press will also be held, conferences in the field of marketing and international business standards will be held.

, made a proposal to appoint Andrey Nazarov to the position of Deputy Secretary General. A positive decision on this issue was made unanimously.

“The election of Andrey Nazarov as Deputy Secretary General will allow a more ambitious approach to solving the problems that the Eurasian Peoples’ Assembly faces,” Andrey Belyaninov emphasized.
