Ambassadors Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to the Russian Federation will take part in the General Assembly of the Peoples of Eurasia

More than 800 members of the Assembly, representatives of non-governmental organizations from 45 countries, will take part in the work of the General Assembly in 2021. The invitation to participate was accepted by Ambassadors Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of several Eurasian countries.


In 2017, the Eurasian Peoples' Assembly gathered more than 2,500 participants from 67 countries at the site of the First Congress. The Congress established the International Union of Non-Governmental Organizations and Experts "Eurasian Peoples' Assembly" and adopted a resolution that supported the idea of holding an annual Day of Spiritual Accord, Friendship and Cooperation of the Peoples of Eurasia to promote integration processes on the Eurasian continent, expand and deepen contacts between people from different countries. & nbsp;

The General Assembly of the Peoples of Eurasia will be held on July 9, 2021.

Confirmation has already been received of the planned participation of Professor M. D. Lamavans, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka to the Russian Federation, accredited concurrently in the Republic of Armenia, the Republic of Belarus, the Republic of Moldova and the Republic of Uzbekistan.

Other guests are expected at the General Assembly of the Peoples of Eurasia. The Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan to the Russian Federation will take part in it. Mr. Shafqat Ali Khan was appointed Ambassador of Pakistan to the Russian Federation in March last year.

The invitation was also accepted by the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Kyrgyz Republic to the Russian Federation, Ms. Gulnara-Klara Samat.
