A Public Council was created under the Representative Office of the Assembly in Bashkiria

Today, July 23, 2020, under the chairmanship of the First Deputy Prime Minister of the Government of the Republic of Bashkortostan, head of the Representation of the Eurasian Peoples' Assembly in the Republic of Belarus Andrei Nazarov, the First meeting of the Public Council of the Representation was held.

The Public Council included public figures, businessmen, entrepreneurs, bankers.

“We have gathered the Public Council at the Representative Office of the Assembly to discuss with active citizens how we can develop social activities tomorrow. Whatever direction we take, we want to be the first,” Andrey Nazarov said, adding that such meetings of the Public Council will be held on a regular basis.

The event was attended by the Secretary General of the Assembly Andrey Belyaninov, First Deputy Secretary General - Head of the General Secretariat of the Assembly Svetlana Smirnova, Deputy Head of the General Secretariat for Information Policy of the Assembly Lyubov Yolkina, heads of large associations of entrepreneurs, public figures and active citizens who are members of the Assembly from Bashkortostan.

Experts summed up the results of the activities < a href="">Representative offices for the first half of the year, discussed the work plan and development strategy for the future.

In his opening speech, Andrey Belyaninov paid special attention to the effectiveness of the work of the leadership of the republic: “We know about the success of the team of the head of the republic, Radiy Khabirov, who was able to do a lot not only for the socio-economic development of Bashkiria, but also to protect people during a pandemic. In particular, in record time, in 55 days, a high-tech infectious diseases hospital using technologies from Chinese Wuhan and Russian Moscow. We are proud to tell the partners of the Eurasian Peoples' Assembly about this and believe that such an integration experience can be offered to different countries, given that the epidemiological situation in the world is still unstable.”

In his speech, Andrey Nazarov recalled the formation Representations of the Eurasian Peoples’ Assembly in the Republic, having indicated that the purpose of cooperation between the Assembly and Bashkortostan is to expand and strengthen international humanitarian and business cooperation, exchange of accumulated experience and information in the field of tourism, culture, education, sports, work with youth, as well as in commercial and industrial environment, including exports, imports, finance, investment and innovation. Andrey Nazarov also indicated that the members of the Representative Office, who are members of its Public Council, are brand people, well-known public figures in the republic, they will make their proposals to the work of the Representative Office.

Executive Secretary of the Representative Office Dmitry Trapeznikov in his speech stressed that in accordance with the measures taken to prevent the spread of coronavirus infection throughout the country and in the Republic of Bashkortostan, the approved work plan for the current year has undergone significant changes. Nevertheless, the Representative Office takes part in the implementation of a number of projects. Since April, the Representation of the Eurasian Peoples' Assembly in the Republic of Bashkortostan has joined the volunteer movement >“Our Care”, within the framework of which the supporters and the staff of the Representative Office of the Assembly provided assistance to the residents of the region in the delivery of medicines and food packages. One of the most significant projects of the Representation can be considered the organization of a series of radio broadcasts >“Streets of Our Heroes” on Radio Russia. Bashkortostan. Also, the Representative Office organized online conferences in various areas of activity.

Dmitry Trapeznikov called landmark events Eurasia Forum of Volunteers, World Folkloriada and Eurasiade, which are planned to be held in Ufa.

The participants of the meeting - members of the Public Council also made a number of proposals to the work plan of the Representative Office. Issues of developing tourism, organizing business events with the involvement of international partners, transferring the effective work experience of members of the Representative Office to the countries of Greater Eurasia, and coordinating volunteer work at the all-Russian level were raised.
